Creative Imagination = Eucharist = sacramental Experience r.r.lackney 2000
Background Perceptions taken from R.R. Lackney's homily reflection at
Lourdes College graduates of 1986
I think, we should give the past the benefit of our doubts, because in our choices we, like the people of the past, “do not know what we decide and do will really come out. Nothing ever has to happen the way it happened. Nothing was on a track. Nothing was pre-ordained. Nothing was guaranteed to be as it is.
"Anything
At any time,
Any event of the past
Could have gone differently
Could have been done differently
For any number of different reasons
At almost any point in time." *

' ... Our lives are fluid, they change, they are molded and shaped by events and personal experiences. We operate in an atmosphere of freedom with decisions to make and we do not, really, know how these decisions will turn out or the impact on ourselves or on the lives of others.
There is a great wonder in not knowing of what will happen and how things will eventually come about: Our personal mystery powered by our curiosity, a curiosityalways in the pursuit of truth.
There is opportunity to enter into our futures that is full of confidence and power hidden in our own, personal histories, and it has to do with EDUCATION.

We must be grateful to those who taught us.in their faithful performance of their duty to TEACH.
' We cannot know who we are unless we knew who we were, and how we got to be
where we are. Really, we cannot know another person, an individual unless you know what they have been through in their individual life. We cannot be so unappreciative as to forget that if
we stop remembering and showing our admiration and respect for high accomplishment
we are really in trouble.'

If we dismiss everything: theories, notions, ideas, faith, God, creation, intution and remain cynics we can no longer be heroes to learn from, we are really in trouble and those we are responsible to are in trouble.
'We are going through a very difficult transition now: social transitions, transitions in science, medicine, technology, shifting populations, rising expectations. problems with disease, problems with racial-bigotry, and in this time of tension and testing we can LEARN.'

BACKGROUND PERCEPTIONS
Through "Education" we find common ground we are together: a people bonded in wisdom, knowledge, and virtue. There is a bond that, I believe, extends beyond race, age, economics, and demographics. There is a sense of wanting- a longing- to belong to something greater than our own selves.
I believe this longing is the Love of Learning. The endless search for Knowledge!

1 ::: How do we think about and then discover the fundamental educational processes that “maximize the creative impulses” within the individual artisan and awaken the human the mind, body and spirit to perform at the highest levels over extended periods of time?

2 ::: How are artisans to organize and innovate effectively to provide solutions to emerging problems (at all levels of human activity)?

3 ::: What is the role of “uncertainty”, “anxiety”, “ambiguity” in the processes of creative imagination?
4::: And, how do these learning processes impact the way we educate the Artisan?
THE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION INC.
What is our Passion?
Focus: CREATIVITY + INNOVATION + LEADERSHIP
Strategy: Development of The Open Source Model as the means of knowledge distribution.

CREATIVITY: Creativity is something that “happens” to you and creates the sense of “uncertainty”.
Creativity always leads to Innovation and Collaboration.

INNOVATION: The making things with your hands that leads to “Creative Collaboration” that works through solutions over extended periods of time.
Innovation always is Cumulative and Collaborative.

LEADERSHIP: Seeing and conceiving solutions to problems that exist beyond what we know and do not know. The ability to “see over the horizon" and then "think act and do".
The ability to Create a Vision and fulfill a Dream.
Commitment and participation in the ”Meta-Group Thinking Team(s ) that establishes the working relationship between the professional and the amateur.

CREATIVE IMAGINATION: Eucharist, the sacramental experience that makes the Past and Future Present. That Love, Work Knowledge, and Service are indeterminate.
